SENTT  MONEY TRANSFER SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. About Us

Sentt / United Service Center LLC (“Sentt”) operates as a Michigan Limited Liability Company with Money Transmitter License in State(s) indicated in the State License page. Sentt offers the Online Money Transfer Service, which can be accessed through the website www.sentt.com or the Sentt Mobile App, and the By-Agent Money Transfer Service provided via Sentt's authorized Agent network in the United States. These services cater to both domestic money transfers through Sentt’s authorized Agents network and international money transfers through international remittance partners.

Sentt offers two primary types of money transfer services to facilitate the efficient and secure transfer of funds. These services are available through the Sentt website, mobile app, and a network of authorized agents within the United States.

5. Transfer Fees

Sentt provides transparent information regarding the charges levied on the sender for initiating a money transfer. This information will be prominently displayed at the Agent location for By-Agent money transfers or presented to the sender online for Online money transfers before finalizing the transaction. Fees may vary based on the chosen money transfer service (By-Agent or Online), payment method, and collection method. Unless local law in the destination country specifies otherwise, the sender bears the responsibility for all fees associated with the money transfer. In certain cases, the payment for a money transfer may be subject to local taxes and service charges.

If available, the receiver may encounter additional fees for receiving the sender's funds online or into a bank or other account. Sentt may derive revenue from fees linked to the use of Online Services. It's important to note that Sentt disclaims any responsibility to the sender or any account holder for any fees, exchange rates used for currency conversion, or actions of the destination or intermediary financial service providers.

6. Payment Methods

Our money transfer services offer various payment methods to fund the transfer. The following details pertain to the payment methods available for initiating transactions:

(i) Electronic Payment Methods

At Sentt, we offer the convenience of making payments through credit cards, debit cards, and/or ACH (Automated Clearing House) for the services provided. When using a credit card or debit card for payment, customers are required to provide accurate and current card information and authorize Sentt to charge the specified amount to the card provided. Similarly, when utilizing ACH for payments, customers must ensure that the provided bank account information is accurate and up to date.

In addition, customers are required to comply with the terms and conditions of the payment processing company and/or bank that Sentt partners with. Links to these terms and conditions will be provided to customers before making the payment. By utilizing a credit card, debit card, or ACH for payments, customers are agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth by Sentt and the designated payment processing company and/or bank.

It's important to note that by using a credit card, debit card, or ACH for payments, customers authorize the specified amount to be debited from the chosen payment method. Payment information provided by customers may be stored securely with Sentt and/or a third-party system to facilitate future transactions and to comply with regulatory requirements.

Customers should be aware that they may be responsible for any chargebacks initiated by the card issuer or bank. In the event of a chargeback, customers may be subject to additional fees and penalties as outlined by the card issuer, bank, or Sentt.

Sentt reserves the right to decline or cancel any payments made through credit cards, debit cards, or ACH if deemed necessary, and may require additional verification or information before processing the payment.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the payment information provided is accurate and up to date, and understand that any discrepancies or inaccuracies may result in delays or cancellation of the transaction. Sentt is committed to maintaining the security and confidentiality of all payment information and adheres to industry-standard security protocols to safeguard customer data.

(ii) Non-Electronic Payment Methods

At the discretion of each Agent, non-electronic payment methods may be accepted at agent locations for By-Agent Money Transfer Service. Sentt does not prescribe the payment methods accepted by agents and regards all payment methods as equivalent to "cash." Sentt will distinguish the payment methods only if the payment is made at an Agent location authorized to utilize Sentt's card payment processing.

If an agent accepts a check, draft, credit or debit card, or any other non-cash form of payment, neither Sentt nor the agent assumes any obligation to process or pay the money transfer in the event that the form of payment is uncollectible. Furthermore, they do not assume liability for damages resulting from nonpayment of the money transfer due to such uncollectibility. Sentt and its agents retain the right to refuse service to any individual.

7. Transaction Limits

Our money transfer services may impose limits on the amount of money that can be sent or received within a specified period. These limits can also be based on receipt country and/or any other factors determined necessary by Snett.This limits are established to comply with regulatory requirements, manage risk, and ensure the security of transactions. The following aspects pertain to transaction limits:

It is important for senders and recipients to be aware of these transaction limits, as exceeding the prescribed limits may result in the suspension of the transaction, additional verification requirements, or the need for special authorization to proceed with the transfer. Additionally, these limits are subject to change based on regulatory updates, risk assessments, and other relevant factors.

8. Foreign Exchange

When sending money to a recipient in a different currency, our money transfer services facilitate foreign exchange to ensure the recipient receives the funds in their local currency. The foreign exchange rate applied to the transaction will be clearly communicated to the sender before the transfer is completed. This rate may fluctuate in accordance with prevailing market conditions. A conversion fee, if applicable, will be disclosed to the sender prior to the completion of the transaction. This fee covers the costs associated with converting the sender's currency to the recipient's currency. The availability of specific currencies for exchange may be subject to market conditions and regulatory constraints, and may vary based on the chosen payout location.

It is important to note that foreign exchange transactions are subject to market volatility and may be impacted by factors beyond our control, such as geopolitical events and economic conditions. As a result, the actual amount received by the recipient may differ from the originally estimated amount due to fluctuations in exchange rates. In the event that the Receiver determines that the received amount is less than or does not match the amount sent by the Sender, the Receiver has the right to decline the transaction. Once the Receiver accepts the amount, the transaction becomes ineligible for adjustments or refunds. However, any discrepancies in the exchange can be reported by contacting Sentt using the phone number provided in the "Contact" section.

9. Transaction Process

The transaction process for utilizing our money transfer services involves the following steps:

  1. Initiation: The sender initiates the transaction by providing the necessary details, including the sender’s information, recipient's information, the amount to be transferred, and the preferred payout method. Information collected varies based on amount and/or other factors.
  2. Payment: The sender selects the payment method and submits the funds for the transfer, including any applicable fees.
  3. Verification: Our system verifies the sender's identity and the transaction details to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security measures.
  4. Processing: Once the payment is confirmed, the transfer is processed, and a unique transaction reference number is generated for tracking purposes.
  5. Receipt: The transaction information becomes available in the History page if using the Online Money Transfer Service or a receipt is printed for the sender if the By-Agent transfer service.
  6. Notification: The sender and the recipient may or may not receive notifications confirming the successful initiation and completion of the transaction or if a transfer has not been collected every few days.
  7. Payout: The recipient can collect the transferred funds from the designated payout location or receive the funds through the chosen payout method.
  8. Availability of Funds: Typically, regular money transfers are accessible within minutes for collection by the receiver, contingent upon the opening hours of the receiving Sentt Agent (“Agent”) location. The money sent through the Online/By-Agent money transfer service will be available for collection within 24 hours and 48 hours, respectively. 

The speed and availability of the transfer process may vary based on factors such as the chosen payout method, location, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, specific transaction limits and processing times may apply to individual transactions. It is important to note that Sentt does not function as the agent or representative of any bank for any purpose and does not accept deposits on behalf of any bank. 

10. SMS Notifications

Where available, Sentt provides free SMS notifications to inform the sender that the transaction has been sent, which may or may not include the reference number or confirmation of collection by the receiver. For the receiver, it indicates the availability of funds for collection. Any charges incurred from the service provider are the sole responsibility of the sender or receiver. If permitted by applicable law, the SMS will be sent to the mobile number provided by the sender and/or receiver. Sentt will dispatch SMS messages to a third-party gateway for delivery. Sentt is not liable for undelivered SMS or technical malfunctions occurring outside of its proprietary systems.

11. Disbursements of Funds

Money transfers are typically disbursed in cash if Sender selects “Cash-Pickup” when making a money transfer, although certain Agents may offer alternative methods such as checks, a combination of cash and checks, or payment directly into accounts. Receivers are required to present documentary evidence of their identity and provide all necessary details about the money transfer as required by Sentt, including the names of the sender and receiver, the approximate sum, and any additional conditions or requirements at the Agent location. Money transfers might also be disbursed to a bank account or a wallet depending on the sender's collection method selected and availability of the collection method. The sender grants Sentt authorization to honor the receiver’s choice of fund collection method, even if it differs from the sender’s preference.

Cash money transfers are distributed to the individual deemed entitled to receive the transaction by Agents after verifying their identity through examination of identification documents. Neither Sentt nor its Agents conduct a review of the information provided by the sender to confirm the receiver's address. In some destinations, the receiver may be mandated to provide identification, a test question answer provided in the comments' field, or both to receive funds in cash. It is important to note that test questions are not an additional security feature and cannot be used to delay the payment of a transaction. Furthermore, test questions may be prohibited in certain areas.

12. Service Availability

Sentt reserves the right to make changes or discontinue any service offered through our Website, Mobile App, or authorized Agents without prior notice. This includes the potential termination of an authorized agent, an international remittance partner, or services to specific countries.

We also maintain the authority to deactivate any user account, user name, phone number, or password, whether selected by the user or allocated by us, if we believe that the user has violated any of the terms and conditions outlined herein. Additionally, prior to using any service, sending a new money transfer, or when contacting Customer Support, Sentt may require verification of the Sender’s phone number and/or email address and/or verification of identity.

Please note that Sentt will not be held liable if our services, authorized agents, or international partners are temporarily unavailable for any reason, whether during specific periods or at any given time.

13. Cancellations and Refunds

The sender is entitled to cancel a money transfer and receive a refund unless the funds have already been collected or deposited. If the cancellation is made within 30 days from the sending date, Sentt will refund the entire amount paid, including any fees. After 30 days, only the principal amount will be refunded. As permitted by relevant laws, Sentt may levy an administrative charge on unclaimed money transfers after one year from the sending date.

To cancel a transfer, the sender can utilize the "Cancel" option on our Website or Mobile App, or reach out to Customer Service using the contact information provided in the Contact section below. If the funds have not been collected or deposited, Sentt will refund the money transfer within 5 business days from the cancellation request date. "Business Day" refers to Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, regardless of Sentt and/or its Agents' operational status. Any reference to "days'' in this agreement or other policies implies calendar days unless specified otherwise.

14. Data Protection and Privacy 

Your personal information is processed in accordance with applicable laws and is controlled by Sentt. We utilize the personal information you provide when using our products and services, along with other information collected or generated during our relationship with you. This encompasses details from other services such as Online Money Transfer, By-Agent Money Transfer, loyalty or membership program information, previous service usage history, and marketing preferences. The information is utilized to fulfill your service requests and for purposes such as administration, customer service, anti-money laundering, compliance and legal obligations, validation of your details, consumer analysis and research, fraud prevention and detection, and continuous improvement of our products, services, and operations. Additionally, subject to your preferences, we may send commercial communications through email, post, SMS, and other relevant channels.

Sentt may also use, collect, and share information from other products, services, and convenience or rewards programs for which you are registered, for the aforementioned purposes. When providing details about another person, including the recipient of our services, you are required to notify and obtain authorization from the other person regarding our use of this information, as outlined in this section. While providing this information is optional, it is necessary to execute the transaction and deliver the requested services. Without this information, Sentt is unable to provide money transfer, facilitate convenience activities, or other requested services.

We may transfer the information we hold to entities located in countries other than the original collection or creation location, including to affiliates in the USA, for the purposes outlined in this statement. The categories of data transferred include personally identifiable information, contact details, information related to the money transfer, transaction history, and any other information provided by you. Furthermore, we may share the information with other organizations, including those assisting in the operation of our business, to fulfill money transfers, future services, or for the reasons outlined in this section.

We reserve the right to supplement the information you provide with data from other businesses or individuals to validate the accuracy of the information provided by you. Sentt and our worldwide affiliates may disclose your personal information to law enforcement authorities, government officials, or other entities as required by domestic or foreign law, legal processes, or for purposes such as detecting, investigating, prosecuting, and preventing crimes, including money laundering and related criminal activity. The recipients of the information may further disclose it for these and other related purposes.

The information we hold may be accessed by Sentt, our affiliates, and authorized third-party service providers for the purposes outlined in this section or for other purposes to which you have agreed. You have the right to request access to and obtain a copy of your information, for which we may charge a small fee. Additionally, you can request correction, erasure, or limitation of the use of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information. You may also object to the use of your information on legitimate grounds, where the processing is not required to complete the service or is mandated by law or regulation. If you wish to exercise these rights or no longer wish to receive commercial communications from Sentt, please contact Sentt using the phone number or email us at compliance@sentt.com.

For additional information regarding the collection, use, and protection of personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.

15. LIABILITY 

SENTT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY OR SUITABILITY OF ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PAID FOR BY MEANS OF SENTT MONEY TRANSFER. THE SENDER’S TRANSACTION DATA IS CONFIDENTIAL TO HIM AND SHOULD NOT BE SHARED WITH ANY OTHER PERSON OTHER THAN HIS RECEIVER. THE SENDER IS CAUTIONED AGAINST SENDING MONEY TO ANY PERSON HE DOES NOT KNOW. IN NO EVENT SHALL SENTT OR ANY OF ITS AGENTS BE LIABLE IF THE SENDER COMMUNICATES TRANSACTIONAL DATA TO ANY PERSON OTHER THAN HIS RECEIVER. IN NO EVENT SHALL SENTT  OR ANY OF ITS AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES FOR DELAY, NONPAYMENT OR UNDERPAYMENT OF THIS MONEY TRANSFER, OR NON-DELIVERY OF ANY SUPPLEMENTAL MESSAGE, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THEIR EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS OR OTHERWISE, BEYOND THE SUM EQUIVALENT TO $500 (IN ADDITION TO REFUNDING THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF THE MONEY TRANSFER AND THE TRANSFER FEE). IN NO EVENT WILL SENTT  OR ITS AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE FOREGOING DISCLAIMER SHALL NOT LIMIT SENTT ’S OR AGENT’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM SENTT ’S OR AGENT’S GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS WHERE SUCH A LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS VOID.

16. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or related to the money transfer service, including but not limited to issues with transactions, fees, or service quality, Sentt is committed to resolving such matters in a fair and efficient manner. Please note that you can cancel your money transfer for a full refund within 30 days of payment, unless the funds have been picked up or deposited. Customers are encouraged to first address their concerns directly with Sentt's customer service team to seek a prompt and satisfactory resolution by calling Customer Support at the number in the Contact section below or sending an email to complaints@sentt.com. You will get a response within 3 days and your complaint will be addressed and no longer than 15 to 30 days depending on the type of dispute or complaint.

17. Termination

If you violate the Terms, your permission to use the Services will be automatically revoked. Additionally, Sentt reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your user account and/or some or all of your access to any of our services at any time, with or without notice. You have the option to terminate your account at any time by accessing the settings page in your account or by contacting Customer Service at support@sentt.com. After termination, information and content previously provided by you will no longer be accessible through your account; however, Sentt may retain this information and content, and it may also be stored by third parties to whom it has been transferred through your use of any of our services.

18. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to revise these terms by making modifications to this page. It is your responsibility to regularly review this page for any changes, as they are considered to be binding. Furthermore, specific terms in this agreement may be substituted by provisions or notices posted elsewhere on our website.

19. Intellectual Property Rights

Sentt acknowledges and respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same in return. All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed on the Sentt website, mobile app, or any other platform are the property of Sentt or licensed to the company, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the law.

Users of the Sentt platform are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the content and services provided for personal and non-commercial use. This license does not permit the reproduction, distribution, display, or creation of derivative works based on the intellectual property of Sentt without prior written consent.

Any unauthorized use of Sentt's intellectual property may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws and could result in legal consequences. Sentt reserves the right to pursue legal action to protect its intellectual property rights and to seek damages for any infringement.

20. Contact and Customer Relations

Our contract is with the sender only. We are not obligated to any other party, including those on whose behalf the sender transfers funds. If you are dissatisfied with our service for any reason, please contact us using the phone number or email address provided in the Help Center page.
